| WORKING OUT THE SIZES OF DIFFERENT BRANDS |
|
THIS IS AN IMPORTANT TOOL, DESIGNED TO HELP YOU MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE.
This spreadsheet can be used to to determine how each brand compares to each other and as an important guide for you when purchasing from us.Basically we have just provided the chest measurements (when the garment is laid flat) for
- CASUAL BUTTON UP SHIRTS
- KNIT (POLO STYLE) SHIRTS
- BUSINESS SHIRTS
- JACKETS
We have only included the Chest measurements so the whole process is not to confusing.
You will notice there is a difference in each brand and there are valid reasons for this.
The most confusing problem is the conversion between a casual shirt and a knitshirt ( polo shirt) or a piece of knitwear.
A size 20 = a XL, but we all know if you take a extra large shirt, there is no way a size 20 fits. There is no way a 7X Levonte casual shirt wearer could fit a 7X polo shirt by Breakaway for example
Somewhere along the track the whole industry just got lost I think.
A genuine XL Gloweave shirt wearer for example might take a 3X in a Yarra Trail polo shirt.
Anyway this spreadsheet should act as a guide only. Not all shirts measure exactly to their published specification and we are still in the process of updating it, so where you see yellow blanks...thats where we are still working on it.

| METHOD OF POST |
|
Most of our mail order packages are despatched by Australian Air Express(AAE). This is an overnight service.
Consignments can be tracked through the www.aae.com.au website. If the customer is not home the package will not be delivered unless prior authority to leave (ATL) has been given by Kingsize to AAE. In these circumstances the package is returned to depot. We ask that our customers try to nominate an address where they will be during the day. (Work address is fine).
Some mail orders may be posted through the regualr mail service (AUST POST). The cost for postage is charged at the current rate. |
| RETURNS POLICY |
|
We have a full money back guarantee on any item you purchase. Should you not be satisifed with the fit, feel or style of any garment you purchase from us, we will refund or exhange the full value of the garments. The cost of return postage back to KINGSIZE is the responsibilty of the customer*. Of course we would expect the garments have not been worn or damaged in any way.
Where Kingsize has made an error on your order (as sometimes can happen...we are only human) or the goods are damaged in transit(dont worry this does not happen very often) we will also pick up the return freight charges.
Simply return the goods with all the Labels and Tags in place to KINGSIZE BIG & TALL P.O BOX 44 Inglewood W.A. 6932.
We will bend over backwards to make sure you finally are happy with your order. Pick up the telephone and talk to us directly on 1800 810 702. |

| WEBSITE V STORE PRICES |
|
Some of our clients become disappointed when they see a particular garment or price advertised on the website and then drive into one of our stores and cannot find it. Whilst all eight stores nation wide carry much the same product, they will sell items at a different pace. Some sellout early. The website allows us to access stock from all over the country. Some items are advertised at a discounted price due to the fact that the cyberspace store does not pay rent, wages, insurance, lighting, airconditioning and many other things associated with opening a brick and mortar store. However if you do go into a store looking for something on the website, just let our sales people know and they will try to track it down for you. |

| HOW TO CONVERT DIFFERENT UNITS OF MEASURE |
|
This handy spreadsheet converts centimeters to inches and gives you the old imperial measurement too!
Also includes a rough guide on how to convert business shirt and sport shirt sizes.
|
|
| HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF |
|
You'll need a partner to do this....this could be fun!!!!!
Neck - Measure by allowing a finger width of room
Chest - Measure loosely around the broadest part of the chest
Waist - Measure tightly around the waist , where you wear your trousers
Hips - Measure around the seat (bum) and top of thighs , firmly measure
Sleeve - Measure from the centre back (under the collar) to shoulder point then to wrist/cuff
Leg Measure from the crutch to the cuff of the trouser (inside leg)
Here we are assuming you have an accurate cloth measuring tape. If you do not have one of these then you may purchase them from any haberdashery or fabric store. They are relatively inexpensive and can be used for many different things later on !
The most accurate way of measuring is to take garments that fit well...lay them out and then measure them. You can then either email the results to us at sales@kingsize.com.au or look at the Brand specification chart above and make a decision on your size.
On the chart above we have laid shirt different brands out flat and measured the chest.
